Hymn of the Month:

One of my favorite hymns is the Old Rugged Cross and it has a wonderful history.
I like listening to hymns as they soothe and comfort me.
Feel free to click on the link below and learn the history of the hymn when
you reach the bottom of the link page you will find a midi file to play.

Have you taken the time to get to know the Savior?
He would be so happy to meet you. Matthew did meet Jesus and they spoke where Matthew was most comfortable: Matthew 9:9-13 (KJV). Jesus would like to spend a few moments with you.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Mark 12:29-32 29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. 32And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said

Luke 1:76-80 76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; 77To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins, 78Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, 79To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

Matthew 13:44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
